Our Mission is to Transform Early Learning and Achieve Educational Success for All
6 out of 10 children in Central Ohio start Kindergarten without the basic skills needed to succeed.
90% of a child’s brain has already developed by the age of five. Without early intervention, studies have shown that these gaps could have a negative impact on their future.
Why It Matters
90% of a child’s brain has already developed by the age of five. Without early intervention, studies have shown that these gaps could have a negative impact on their future.
We screen children ages 3 to 5 years old, using industry standard formative assessment tools.
We develop targeted instructional practices and strategies to enhance a child’s academic success.
We coach educators and parents and provide practical tools for them to implement with children in school or at home.
THE FUTURE READY FIVE
Kindergarten Readiness Collaborative
Future Ready Five’s Kindergarten Readiness Collaborative (KRC) is an early literacy intervention program designed to prepare children who are currently enrolled in child care or preschool programs for Kindergarten. We collaborate with the centers, teachers, and parents, to identify the needs of each child, provide tools for teachers and parents to incorporate at school and at home, and offer incentives for participation.
