Current Volunteer Opportunities
Working with Children
Book fairs are an excellent way to get books into children’s hands and homes to promote critical reading skills. Future Ready Columbus hosts several book fairs in the community throughout the year. There are many ways to contribute, including packing and unpacking books, and assisting children with their selections. You can make a book fair an unforgettable experience for a child!
Family Engagement Events
Future Ready Columbus participates in many family-centered events that promote early education, literacy, health, and well-being. You may be asked to greet attendees at a booth, hand out literature, serve refreshments, or assist children with arts and crafts activities. Whatever your role, our family engagement events allow you to interact with families in our community and connect them with the support services they need.
