Future Ready Five Celebrates Significant Progress in Early Childhood Education with Winter 2025 Screening Results
Our team at Future Ready Five (FR5) is proud to announce the impressive results of our Winter 2025 screenings for the Kindergarten Readiness Cohort (KRC). Winter scores, assessed for children who scored below in the Fall, show significant improvement on The Reading House® and BRIGANCE® assessments. With Khan Academy Kids® as a key literacy intervention, FR5 is closing learning gaps and preparing children for success.

These results are a testament to the power of early intervention and the dedication of our educators, families, and community partners.
We are seeing a positive trend in academic growth, particularly in our historically underserved communities. The children in our program are not only more prepared for Kindergarten, but they are also gaining the foundational skills they need for life-long learning.
We are deeply grateful to our partners and donors who make this work possible. Together, we are laying the foundation for a more equitable future where all children can achieve their full potential.
Future Ready Five’s mission is to transform early learning and achieve educational equity in Franklin County.
Our goal is to reach 1,500 children in 2025.
